≪Manufacturing Process≫

0566 Coffee Works has long explored the hybrid of alcoholic beverages and coffee. Soaking green coffee beans in alcohol goes against the drying process in producing countries, making it a challenging endeavor. However, with the cooperation of our development department and various related parties, we have successfully completed it.

Roaster's Comment

"The basic roasting for all hybrid coffees stops around the high roast stage. This creates a exquisite balance of aroma and umami. What's interesting about roasting them is that they generally lack the negative acidity inherent in coffee. This is clearly evident when made into iced coffee; there's no acidity, it's rich and mellow, and the aroma doesn't diminish even when cold. I've never encountered such coffee naturally. That said, roasting is difficult. After all, they've been soaked in liquid... But precisely because of that, if roasted properly, their performance is outstanding. Their overwhelming aroma is unmatched by any other coffee. No, such a coffee shouldn't exist in the first place! But they really did develop something like this; I pay my respects to the development department, and as a roaster, I am proud to be able to create such coffee."
